Visit our guesthouse in Bunbeg, Gweedore and enjoy the activities the surrounding areas offer to suit all tastes. Golf, cycling, horse-riding, fishing, hill walking are just a few. There are daily boat trips to the islands and of course many scenic drives. For the children Dunlewy Lakeside Centre providers an excellent play and activity centre. It is a walkers paradise, from leisurely strolls along the many secluded beaches and quiet country roads to bracing walks through hills and boglands. Then there are the more strenuous climbs of Muckish and Errigal mountains, from where on a clear day one can see as far the Scottish Coast. Above all it is a haven for peace and tranquility which people come to experience in this unique part of Ireland.

Glenveagh National Park
24,000 acres of mountains, lakes, glens and woods with the largest herd of Red Deer in the country and where Golden Eagle have been reintroduced. The central feature is the 19th century castle surrounded by the famous Glenveagh Gardens.
Ionad Cois Locha (Dunlewy Lakeside Centre)
This is the restored homestead of a reknowned local weaver. Boat trips are run on the lake and there is an excellent activity centre for children.
Glebe House and Gallery
This fine regency dwelling houses a famous art exhibition with works by Picasso, Bernard and Jack B Yeats.
Bunbeg Harbour
This picturesque local harbour is home to a small fishing fleet and ferry service to the nearby islands.
St Colmcille Heritage Centre
This display is based on the life of the saint and the monastic civilisation of the Co monasteries.
